Twitter button on post footer

Has there been a change to the Twitter button that appears under a post? I noticed that this evening the button looks like this (on our advanced template site at www.porchester.notts.sch.uk );

I'm sure that before it was in the same font as the other footer buttons, and had the small blue bird on. It's not breaking the site, but suddenly looks different, and looking at one of our themed template sites, the Twitter button on there appears the same still;

Any reason for this?

Hi Simon!

It looks like the code you're using is referencing the original Twitter button that TypePad released, but the default code was changed to pull the official Twitter button.

I recommend updating the code to:

<span class="entry-footer-links-twitter">
<iframe allowtransparency="true" frameborder="0" scrolling="no" src="http://platform.twitter.com/widgets/t...; style="width:55px; height:20px;"></iframe>
</span>

Ahh, that platform twitter URL should be...

http://platform.twitter.com/widgets/t...=
<$MTEntryPermalink$>&text=<$MTEntryTitle$>&count=none

Had to drop it to two lines so it would show, but it should only be one line in the actual code.

I've added the first solution you posted - it seems to work with the little blue bird showing again. But, now I'm confused by your second message!

Ah - figured out what you meant now. It's all working perfectly :o) (and yes, we were using the old code - it's been on the site for ages)

If the first comment worked out well for you, then you can ignore the second. From my end it looked like the code got cut out, which is why I left the second comment. :)
