Syncing with other services

Please consider two-way syncing with Remember the Milk service. I really like the idea of making tasks from email messages, but it less useful if I need desktop browser to access my tasks

I'd love to see this sync with other services (Toodledo.com in my case)

Thanks guys, we'll look into their APIs. Of all the services you'd want to integrate with, which would be the most important? And in what way?

Both services discussed here are to-do apps with full api's. . . I use toodledo for all of my task management. While I'm really liking Taskforce, there's no way it could (or should!) replace all of the functionality Toodledo provides. My concern at present is that as easy as it is to add items to task force, it still doesn't add them to any of my primary means of viewing/managing todo lists, it's still stuck in my e-mail and inaccessible anywhere else.

If it integrate directly into my workflow, Taskforce would be a sure thing.

Really great point Allen. I think we'll have to establish, which are the services that will be first on the list. But yes, definitely a great point. Thanks.

Thanks Pavel. We'll need to familiarize ourselves more with RTM, but it's definitely a good idea. Thanks for checking out the app!

I think RTM would be a great choice for syncing - it's versatile (there is a client for just about every platform), and the API seems reasonably simple to implement (judging by all the different implementations). And the question of porting Taskforce to a mobile app would be solved!

I'd vote for RTM. I'd be ok with just a one-way import from RTM into TaskForce, but only if a mobile client for taskforce is in the works.

+1 for Remember The Milk. Then, you wouldn't need a mobile component. RTM has a great Android client, and it's very useful.

+1 for Toodledo - just not that useful if it doesn't integrate with a more robust task management system

+1 for RTM. With the API, I think it shouldn't be difficult and I agree, would be *extremely* helpful (I could manage/view tasks on my mobile).

I wouldn't need the other services if there were an Android app.

It would be great to sync with Producteev (www.producteev.com). However, since I already sync my Producteev tasks with Google Tasks, syncing TaskForce with Google Tasks might be a perfect workaround.

We have built an API for exactly this purpose!

You can sync through GTasks, as you say, right now! They have limited the number of API for the moment, but hopefully that will be increased soon.
