Cold towels...Warm Heart

Our towel warmer was just installed. It doesn't seem to heat up. The time works. The red off/on light works but no heat. The installer took it off the wall and connected to a wire for plug in and it still doesn't heat. Any suggestions?

  • Hello Andrea,

I a sorry to hear that you are having an issue with the unit. These can be tested with a digital ohm meter very easily. Digital ohm meters are very inexpensive and readily available.

Simply measure for ohms across the 2 wires that aren't green (the green wire is ground) and see if you get an ohms reading. While doing the measurement, toggle the red switch. Sometimes the switch lights before it actually completes the wire circuit in the warmer. Please verify that the switch is fully deployed into the "on & "off" positions. If the switch is not fully seated into the "on" position, the unit will not heat. We have seen units returned that were actually OK, the switch was just not positioned correctly.

If you receive no ohms in either switch position, you will need a replacement unit. If you purchased directly from us, please contact us at 800-875-5285 and we will be glad to help you. If you bought it from another vendor, please contact them for a replacement.

Please let us know if we can be of any further assistance.
