Hey folks!
Some people have reported a rare issue where when your member has been approved and they click on the link to complete their profile it doesn't bring them to the page where they can complete it. They can only complete it if they log into their account on the site.
The issue is with the way the Auth app works. The Auth app is what allows your members to log into your site and is essentially part of what you see as the Members app.
If I log into your site as a member a cookie is saved to my computer. When I go to any page of your site again, I am automatically logged into that page if necessary. Unless that cookie is canceled, ending that previous 'session', I will get logged into your site. Unfortunately, we can't automatically end your member's session on our end or else there could be other issues they would experience.
We have talked to the engineers about this, and it's not something we are going to be able to resolve. Fixing this issue would cause too many other major issues.
Please let us know if you have further questions or issues.

Your answer to the problem above is a bit complicated for non computer educated people like me and others. If an applicant sends me an email saying they can't complete their profile because of the link, or I have a list a mile long of people that have not completed their profile, what instructions should I send them (in plain English please). Are you saying that even though they have not completed their profile they can still log in as a member, as they would have already completed a username and password. ? When they then log in as a member is there somewhere on the next page that appears that says 'complete your profile' ? -

I have 15 want-to-be members on my "Invite to complete registration list" the potential members are telling me they registration app does not work for them ... what do I tell them??? What is the solution for them to complete the registration ? How can they sign in as you say ... if they are not approved members? You answered this three years ago and still have no solution to offer other than its a "little problem" ?

So what do we do, stop taking on new members?
Im sure this could be resolved,I have 29 members wanting to complete their profiles before they can be full members and pay subscription.
Sure someone at webs can sort this.
To any of our members reading this, please except our apologies, as you can see -

I think this shouldn't be as hard to do, even easier than taking our payments each year

I have had three comments removed, that were simply asking when this would be resolved, my site is subscription so im losing £10 each member who doesn't complete their profile
