I've just noticed that when you delete an image from an album, it doesn't actually delete the file from your account. This means I've slowly been using up storage space with photos that i'm not displaying anywhere, and I hadn't even realised were still on my account.
I would like to suggest adding a button in file manager that deletes any images/videos/media that isn't being displayed on your site to help people use their storage space more effectively and not waste any space on media they aren't using.
Or if not a button like that, at least have a little icon in file manager that tells you whether that file is in use at all. Because I now have a large collection of photos in my storage, it would take me hours to sift through manually checking which photos are in use and deleting ones that aren't.
A feature like I have suggested would be a great improvement, and I'm sure would benefit many people.

Really? After 3 years these is still no answer for this? I am in the same boat. How do you delete photos from the account to free up space?

Files may be deleted directly within the File Manager.

You mean you CAN'T delete old images??? I thought I just couldn't find where to do it! I am often posting new stats on our sports site to replace last week's and I'm accumulating lots of images that all look the same from the small images available.
