FAQ- Images appearing at the top of the page while Editing or Not appearing at all? Read First! FWB-11958 FWB-11888

Hey Guys!

Since the launch of our redesign, we've had some user reports of difficulties adding images to the site builder. When editing a page, an inserted image appears at the top of the page while editing rather than within the content box where the image should appear.

Users have also reported that they've been unable to insert any images into the Sitebuilder while editing. The images simply do not show up. We are aware of both of these issues.

Currently the issue is still with our engineers. They are working towards a resolution however we need you all to continue to be patient as this issue is further debugged.

We do not need ANY additional information UNLESS you are still experiencing any issues after you've attempted the workaround we've provided.

Reproducibility

Please Note: We were able to reproduce this issue within IE9 Beta. Just to clarify, we do not currently support IE9 since it is currently still in Beta Mode. Please be sure to use an alternate browser if you've upgraded your IE browser to IE9 Beta.

FREE Firefox Download

This issue does NOT occur using Chrome or Firefox.

So far, we've been able to reproduce this issue under certain circumstances.

-Using IE7 or IE8
-Windows XP OS
-Specified Templates (We are aware of which templates are being affected)

This is not to say other that users are not experiencing this same issue while using other Operating Systems (Windows 7, Vista, etc) and other browsers like Firefox or Chrome. We're still breaking down the issue but we're making some headway on reproducing the issue. The testing will continue and we'll continue to keep you all updated.

Temporary Solution

1. Add a content box to the page

2. Highlight the default text

3. Click "Photo" and add your image to the page

4. The photo should insert into the content box

Please be sure to save your changes and publish your page. Once again, This is NOT a final resolution. Just a temporary workaround so that you all can continue to update your sites.

If you continue to experience issues after you've read the instructions above, this means that you may be facing a different issue and we'll need you to provide us with the following:

Site URL:
Browser Version and Type:
File Type (.jpg, .png, etc)
Error Message (If Any)

For system details, you can go to www.supportdetails.com

Thanks again guys!
