FAQ. Primary address won't change after domain name registration - Read this first!

The primary site address is what you see in the URL/address bar of your browser after you click on a link in your navbar.

You can have several addresses get visitors to your site, but when they click on the navbar links, they will see the primary address in the address bar of their browsers.

To change the primary domain on your account, go to the Site Settings area.

In Site Settings, select the primary domain. If you have a personalized domain, you can use that, or you can use:

http://www.freewebs.com/username
http://username.webs.com

Once you have selected it, scroll down to click on SAVE CHANGES.

Then edit your home page. Publish changes. And then select the option to publish ALL pages to update the navbar links on all your pages.

You may need to clear your browser cache after that if you don't see the navbar links change.
