I've noticed quite a few questions regarding background music on user sites, as well as general questions about music in various areas of the SiteBuilder. Music enhances the quality of your site and gives your visitors a reason to come back. You definitely want to be sure that your music is being managed properly.
We've provided a few tips and FAQs on general music usage so that you can continue to properly use the audio features available to you within the SiteBuilder. We've also provided a few troubleshooting tips in case you run into any troubles while editing. If you're unable to locate an answer to your question, you're more than welcome to ask us here. *If you're interested in Background Music that plays throughout your site continuously, you can add music into your sidebar as a custom module. You'll need to copy the HTML code of an external music player, then paste that code into the SiteBuilder. Podsnack is a great site to use for creating music players.

4. Click on the link to "Manage Your Sidebar"
5. Create a "Custom Module" and click on the (<>) HTML option on the toolbar
6. Insert your HTML Code then click "Save"
7. "Save your changes" to your Sidebar then view your site
You're welcome to make use of our Podcast App. to make audio files downloadable for visitors. For additional information on the Podcast App., check out the following article: Podcast | Audio Blogs & Radio Shows.
Unfortunately there is no option to currently stop continuous play of background music on a page.
Helpful Tips
1. Windows Media Player is the default music player for Internet Explorer. Visitors will only hear music on your site if they have the proper plug-ins installed in Internet Explorer. (Windows Media Player Download)
2. Quicktime is the default music player for Firefox. Visitors will need the latest version of the player installed in order to hear any background music on the site while using that browser. (Quicktime Download)
3. Be sure that you're using a supported file type (mp3, .wma, .midi, .wav, or .mpeg). Feel free to try converting a music file to one of our supported file types if you're experiencing any issues. You can try using an Online File Converter like Zamzar or Media Converter to convert the file.

1. Your Site address or username
2. The actual address of any page you are having questions about or difficulties with.
2. Names of any files you are having issues with. Example: Pic3.jpg
3. Steps you are taking to attempt to accomplish the task. Tell us what you are typing in and what links you are clicking on. We may need to follow your actual steps to try to reproduce the error.
4. The exact wording of any error messages you are getting. For example: "Error 404", "J_spring_security check", etc.
