Recently we've seen an increased amount of inquiries regarding Member Profile Options. Specifically, the Tabs within the Member Profiles and how to effectively use them.
Because of the unique design of our Site Building Platform, members have the ability to interact with their site owners as well as other members of the site they're registered with.
Main
This is the default profile view where you can post a comment to your own profile page, reply to those that have commented on your profile, and comment on other member's profiles if you're currently viewing another member's page. You can also add that member as a friend using the "Add as a Friend" option (if you're not friends already). In addition to all of those options, you'll see the following:
- Profile Image
- Member Permission Level
- Join Date
- General Info
- Site Subscriptions
- Recent Activity Feed
- Update Status Section
If you're viewing your own page, you'll see the Inbox section of your profile where you can:
- Compose Messages
- View your Sent, Deleted, and New Messages
- Check New Friend Requests
You can access your Edit Profile section to make changes to your profile as you need to.
- Manage your Profile
- Change your Notification Preferences
- Edit your Account
- Change your Password
Info
This section shows you each question you've responded to within your member profile. Site Owners set originally set these questions to provide insight on why you initially joined the site. This information can also be edited anytime within the Edit Profile section of your account.
If you're viewing another member's profile, you'll see their public profile questions.
Please Note:Only Site Owners can view profile questions that have been set to "Private".
Friends
Within the "Friend's" tab, you'll see a list of friends that have been added to that member's profile. You can use the "Search" feature to locate friends using keywords like their email or username, etc.
A drop down menu has also been provided to sort the list of friends by their display name, by the time at which they were added, or in a random order. You can view these members in Grid View or List View using the icons directly above the "Sort By" options.
Photos
Within the "Photos" section, only photos that have been uploaded by that member (via the Photo Gallery) will show. For site owners, this does not include photos that have been uploaded via the file manager if they have not been placed into an album in your photo gallery.
If members have been permitted to upload photos to the site, they'll need to do so within the Photo Gallery Page. The Site Owner must designate which member permission level is permitted to upload. This is done via the "Settings" section of the Photo Gallery App on the Site Owner's account.
Photos cannot be uploaded via this tab by neither Site Owners nor Site Members.
Videos
The "Videos" Tab functions identically to the "Photos" Tab. Only Member-Uploaded Videos will be available to view here. Permission levels to do so are subject to the discretion of the Site Owner.
If members are permitted to upload videos, they will need to do so via the Video Gallery Application.

Thanks for contacting us. Unfortunately You cannot add custom titles to visitors that donate to your site. In addition, icons cannot be added to member titles. That is not a feature that we currently offer. You can always set member permissions if you'd like to do that instead. Feel free to check out this article to find out how to do so. Thanks!
