I haven't been able to log on to webs FTP from a new computer (I've been trying since before Feb 10), despite having a Webs Enhanced account with FTP access - account name britishtennis and domain britishtennis.net.
I have tried to log on through my FTP software using ftp.webs.com with username britishtennis and the usual password.I have also tried ftp.freewebs.com, since I believe we used to connect at that address. I always get "! Socket Error: no connection" (etc)
I also tried putting ftp://
britishtennis@ftp.webs.com/ into the address bar as suggested at
https://webscom.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/... but even that won't connect, i.e. I don't even get as far as a username/password screen.
I have not been able to upload files for nearly two weeks and given the number of files I need to upload and the frequency with which I need to upload them, the workaround you suggest doesn't provide a realistic solution.
If any of the things I have tried above are wrong, please let me know. Otherwise, please let me know when this will be fixed and if it won't be before the end of this week, please let me know how to claim a refund of my subscription because I will have to make arrangements to move to a hosting service that works.
