FAQ- Having trouble attaching an .au site to web site? - Read this first!

I'm trying to set up this site for a friend, and she has already purchased the domain name www.funkymunchkins.com.au. I would like to attach it to her webs site until we are able to transfer that domain to here (it's under 60 days old at the moment) Whenever I try to attach it it says that the domain name is not registered. Is this because she hasn't upgraded to premium yet (i wanted to make sure it all worked before she paid to go to premium)
thanks for your help!

  • I forwarded your question to the premium support team. I am assuming the username on the account is funkymunchkins, and since you didn't use an email address here, we will contact the one associated with that account.

Basically, the account needs to be premium in order to use DNS - which is the service that allows domains to be attached to the site. This is part of the Starter, Enhanced, and Pro packages. You can purchase one of these in the Premium section of your account.

Once you have that, you cannot attach the domain yourself since it's an .au domain. You need to write to the premium support team so they can do it for you.

Go to SUPPORT and either contact Live Chat or use the option to email support. These won't appear until you have the premium service set up on the account.
