Hey, I've just got some idea's about credit sharing...
I think that you should be able to:
a) Share credits between websites
eg) Website ~A~ has 500cr. Website ~B~ has 5cr. You wish to delete/no longer use
Website ~A~ or just want to transfer credits, but you can't.
b) Share credits between accounts
eg) Your mate has webs, and has 500cr. He was using webs for a school assignment. He no longer needs his webs account therefore he wishes to give you his 500cr. However, there is no way to transfer credits.
Now, some people might say, "people would just go and create 5 other accounts and transfer each amount of credits to their base account", but to create a new account, you need another e-mail. So if people are prepared to go to the length of creating millions of e-mail addresses, then good luck to them, and I'd say, you have no life.
Anybody else agree that you should be able to transfer credits between websites and accounts? If so, then, lol. Please agree!

Hopefully it will soon be possible to transfer webs credits from one account to another. I wish to transfer webs credits from one account that I wish to close due to miss spelling a martial arts club name.

Yes, I definitely agree with this idea, because you can only have one toolbar on your browser. I own three sites and would love to be able to do that.

great idea! I too have multiple sites - in the meantime does anyone know how to change the site that gets the 10 daily web search credits? presently the credits are going to a site that I use less frequently,
-
Well I did this a while ago and it worked for me. Uninstall your webs credits toolbar, you won't lose any credits, then make sure you go to the site you want the extra credits to be added. Simply install the toolbar again.

There should be a way to trade or sell Points among accounts! Lets say I like to Trade banners or advertise on your site. I'd like to get or give 50 Points as a Offer!
Members should be able to transfer points. Its a VERY Much Wanted and needed Commodity here.
This should be available to NON- PREMIUM Members!!

First off all I will tell one thing. If you have 2 websites under a same webs id, you can transfer credits. When I have requested, they have done it for me. So now I agree sam's 2nd point but not exactly like that.
A member should get credits for joining some websites. SO that, by using those credits he must able to download something from the website / purchase something.. by paying credits to the site owners.-
I have transferred my credits between two websites under same webs id. See this: http://support.webs.com/webs/topics/t...

Also support. Nowhere does it say that whatever site you're on when you get the credits is the site they go to permanently. I just got $20 worth of credits on my useless, going-to-be-deleted FREE site, and Webs won't let me transfer to my PAID site I actually use (both under the same Webs ID).
Webs.com developers, implement this idea! There's no reason not to, every website listed on our account still BELONGS TO US, there's NO point in not letting us designate which site our credits get spent on. Oh wait, yes there is... more money for you.
Webs.com gets worse and worse every day I use it. If I had't purchased a premium package I'd leave.- view 1 more comment

I know NOW that they're added to the last site you were editing... don't you think you might want to at least advertise that fact BEFORE it happens and people get upset?
I doubt I'm the only person this has happened to, it doesn't say anywhere that the credits are site-specific, and not belonging to the account itself. At least make a note of that on the Credits page, please. -

I'll pass on that suggestion. Thank you.

Well there is ONLY one way around this... What you can do is use the credits up on the TOP 50 You can make a Forwarding Script to your Main Site from the one with "Wasted Credits". So basically your you can use them up through Advertising from your OTHER Webs.com Sites via TOP 50
So instead of Waiting until #50 is gone. You can have 2 or 3 up there getting your site traffic.
**Also you could "crosslink" 2 Webs.com sites for extra pages too. However- thta takes a bit of skill and patience.
Take care- Hope this Helps! -

Transferring credits between sites on one's account is a must. I'm looking forward to seeing this feature soon!

What if someone created 20 websites and got the 5 credits free each day and transferred them all to one account? That's an easy 100 credits a day. I don't know if this is a good idea or not.

Webs... well anyways, I'm not concerned... How would someone do that for 20 websites? That guy would be using a bot, or really has no life at all (it would take a lot of time just to get the 5 credits for each site)... that would take a very, very long time... and I'm sure Webs would put a limit as to how many transfers can happen in a week, or something like that, IF they implement this (which I doubt they will...).

The true is, based on Terms of Service of transferring Webs Credits to other accounts can not happen.
Most webs.com members may not notice or forgotten what the Terms of Service of the Webs.com on Credits. When you purchase or receive credits, you do not own the credits; rather, you receive a limited right to use such credits in connection with certain features and services on the Sites, such as the purchase of additional storage. Please note that purchases of Webs Credits are non-refundable, and you may not transfer or sell your Webs Credits to anyone.
So therefore, transferring Webs Credits to anyone or yourselves can't receive it credits. Must read the the Terms of Service of the Webs.com:http://www.webs.com/terms.htm#credits. -

TY for the TOS info.
Well then we should hold a Petition then to webs.com to allow us to keep/transfer our points under SAME email Webs account.
(I have 6 Sites under one Email but 12 sites under 3 emails)
It be great and FAIR to move points around as long as I do it to same accounts.
**Perhaps we could 'trade' points to others with a penalty. Say you helped me with site or Im closing down one site. I want to get you my points. There should be a $ point fee. IE: Send 100 Point-Cost=15 points.Thats all I wanted to point out for an idea. -
