Thanks to the information that was shared, we were able to identify a network issue on our end that was causing the problem and it should now be resolved.

Well I am unable to get past that mCAPTCHA, as the window is too smal to let me see anything. I have restarted my system, now the window is just the top line.....Something is definetevly wrong...
Conclusion: I want to return to the old Sitebuilder, but there is no indication how.....When it asuggested to try Sitebuilder 3 it says that we can get back to the old one within 14 days, but I see no indication how :(- view 2 more comments

I tried your suggestion of starting in a private window with all add-ons disabled, it didn't help.
I do not receive an error message, just no response when clicking the "publish" tab.

Same here. I edit and click Publish and....NOTHING. Nada, zip. Nothing happens. Quite frustrating. Webs had this same problem a few months ago and it went on for weeks. Then they finally got it fixed and it was great. But now the same thing is happening again. And then we had that not being able to download photos thing that went on for WEEKS before they got it fixed.
Your site is great when it is working, but when it doesn't, it is a source of constant frustration. Please fix it. Thank you. -

All of my sites are in html mode and three them have trouble with editing a page, I get the same error in the screenshot after I get passed the CAPTCHA despite waiting and coming back to try to make an edit.
But for some reason my fourth site; www.melon48.webs.com doesn't have an editing problem like the others. How strange.. and it's also in html mode.

There's no error message at all. The "publish" button is not responding at all and drafts aren't automatically saved. So for all intents and purposes the sitebuilder is DOWN, completely unusable.
Exactly the same thing that happened a few months ago... hopefully the fix time will not be as long as it was then. website is www.englishcaddy.org

I am going through the same problem as well. I get to the point where all i have to do is publish, and it will not do it. I feel your pain, and i do not want to have to wait as long as last time to do it as well.

I have the same issue - I do some updates, click on Publish and zilch happens. Exactly the same as Gregg Robert's above. www.scannerzine.com Using Internet Explorer.
What's more interesting, is I published this in ANOTHER thread that has recently disappeared. Was adding a note each day this didn't work. I'll continue

Hi! Same problem here, I edit a page, and then push on "publish" but nothing happened. If I try "view": I only see the old page. If I try to go to another page, it doesn't move.
Nothing published, nothing save, I cannot do nothing.

Same problem here ... unable to to "Publish" and will not "Save draft". As others have said this same issue happened several months ago and took over a week to correct which is not acceptable especially when you are dealing with business related websites that customers rely on to get current information from.

well it's great to hear that it is affecting quite a lot of people. Still what is happening? Any progress in sorting out the cause of the problem?
I for myself have tried to upgrade to siteBuilder3, where I encounter the problem os not even get pass the passed the CAPTCHA for the simple reason that it does not display the entire window.....the more I try to refresh the less I see of the window....
I want to downgrade to site Builder 2 but even this is impossible despite the fact it did say we can get back within the next 2 weeks....So far I have no clue how to do that and nobody has come back....
Site Builder 3 seems to have even less support than 2.....It exists on for premium members.....Very strange....
Is anyone of the support team actually looking into the matter????? -

My publish button hasn't been working for days now. I posted in the old thread about the same problem that happened months ago and took weeks to get fixed. My website is pretty much useless being unable to update it.

Anyone that is affected by the SB2 publish button not functioning, please take a screenshot of warnings in your browser console AFTER clicking the Publish button.
1. Press F12 while viewing the error message on the page to open the Console tool menu.
2. Press the Console tab on the Console menu. In Mozilla Firefox, the Console tab will be to the right of the Inspector tab; in Google Chrome, the Console tab is to the right of the Elements tab.
3. Scroll all the way down the Console window to see if any error messages are displayed there in red text.

Thank you all for your comments, we are continuing to investigate. If you decide to submit a screenshot, please consider doing so in the Google Chrome web browser, as Chrome provides more detailed information in their Console tab than Mozilla Firefox.

google chrome is useless for my site. I can't edit at all in it. So I can't see if the publish button is working there anyway
I am using Foxfire Mozilla, as recommended by Webs many years ago. I have no luck at all in explorer or chrome -

This happened earlier this year where where my site wouldn't save anything and wouldn't allow us to publish either. This has been going on for a four days now and are expected to pay in five days for something that isn't even working. We are even considering starting over from scratch on a new provider. Please see what can be done. It just says "Saving Draft" without actually saving anything and doesn't publish most of the time when you press the button. Except for once, then wouldn't do it again.

DO NOT UPDATE !!! I have done that believing what it says, that we have 14 days to go back if we do not like it BUT the support is nearly non existing, as it is only for premium members and I have now a problem with the verification window wCATCHA...see previous comments....So far nobody has come back to me on have to downgrade to SiteBuilder 2!!!
