FAQ. Verification email sent to old email address when updating WebsID email address FWB-27446

The issue


Verification emails when updating the email address for a WebsID are sent to the old email address instead of the new email address.

This means that if you change your WebsID's email address under Manage Account Settings to an incorrect email address and then confirm the change, it is not possible to correct.

Status


We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience. This error has been reported to our engineers for further investigation, and we appreciate your patience while this is corrected.

As long as you know the incorrect email address, you should be able to continue to login with that address.

What to do if affected


Please let us know the current email address, what you are trying to change it to, and where you tried to make the change.
