We need a new app like Wiki!
Recently, I noticed that the Wiki App was removed because the company is going out of business. This App was very helpful and I, as many others, would like it back. I think that Webs should make a new App similar to Wiki. If you agree, comment below!

My idea was merged with this one, though it was distinctly different. I suggested we be able to back up all the data in our wiki's as many of us put hard work into them. And also be able to restore to a certain saved point.

NOOOOOOO... Why are you going away WetPaint!
Yes we do need one like the WetPaint Wiki! I really liked the EasyEdit toolbar. I hope Webs will get something up, as the Wiki was a truly unique app. -

Uh, my wiki is still there? Or is this going to happen sometime soon, because then I'll be backing all my stories up.

I see no evidence that Wetpaint Injected is leaving.
I've checked: http://www.wetpaintinjected.com/

I do not know how to make back ups, I hope Wetpaint will not be dropped by WEBS, which seemed to be the discussion issue in the thread link.
The whole reason I chose Webs was for it's Wetpaint Injected. If they remove it, I will leave Webs, period. I think the rest of their services are mediocre when it comes to web publishing.- view 3 more comments

I found out over a month ago, maybe even two months ago.

Making back ups means to basically copy all of the stuff off your website and paste it in a Word document or something so that you don't lose it.

There is a back up on wetpaint's full wetpaint sites. It gives you a community, forums, many pages, videos album, photo albums, inbox, and security settings, etc.

The lady on the Live Chat Support said that the Wiki App is going out of business around June. Everyone should start backing up their information!

I ported from Spruz to webs.com because after 9 months they said "pay or lose access to your site".

If any one wants, Spruz.com has a full social community website setup, it also has a wiki there, along with groups, photo, video, music player, blog, forums, also has 10 levels of access you can set to the stuff like the blog, forums and such.

Looking at Spruz sites, they seem very forum based and ideal for communities like gaming and groups.
All I really wanted was a website with my own wiki embedded. I already have a Guildlaunch account, which is very similar to Spruz. They also have a wiki. There are a lot of options, but most of these community sites look like a frame heavy widget laden template, which may have very little flexibility in the way of design and layout options.
But very good information, I'm sure a lot of people will want to look into their site. Thank you. -

Yeah I want another app like wiki on webs! Webs is one of the best website builders out there but yet it's giving one of it's favorite Apps away! :(

Suggestions for 3rd Party Wiki Tools..
I'm a community moderator at Wetpaint's official Help & Support site, Wetpaint Central. One user posted telling us that Webs are going to discontinue using the Wetpaint tools, and so I thought I would come with a few new suggestions for 3rd Party Wiki tools.
Here are a few services you might like:
WikiSpaces - http://www.wikispaces.com/
WikiDot - http://www.wikidot.com/
Zoho Wikis - http://www.zoho.com/wiki/
Users feel free to post any -free- wiki tools as a response. I believe they must be online tools, as well. -

Site Wiki's.
I think webs should give the sites the ability to have their own wikis. -
