Open Air Trams

The open air trams are great but the back tram (there are two linked together) rarely gets a good view of the scene. For example... most of the riders on the back half of the rear tram had to actually exit the tram to see any of the Whoville and Grinch stop. If the tram can't pull up enough to allow both the front and rear trams equal views of the stop then you shouldn't run two trams linked.

  • Mr. Holmes,

I really appreciate your feedback. I'll pass this along to our stop directors and make sure it's something we test during rehearsals for next year. Blocking and lighting for three different vehicle types is challenging, but you're absolutely right that we can do a better job on this.

Personally, the tram is my favorite way to see the Performance Tour
because there's so little separation between the audience and performers. Making sure the second car gets that full experience is important to me too.

If you have any other suggestions for the Performance Tour, I'd love to hear them. Please post here, on facebook, or by email to
