    Ways you can support WWF
A great start is to look at our "Take Action" pages

    panda.org/how_you_can_help/

Here you can find out about many opportunities to support WWF such as taking part in online campaigns locally or globally, updating yourself with our newsletters, becoming a part our online communities or even volunteering with your national WWF office.

There are also suggestions about personal actions to help us all help our living planet.

Also, if you visit the website of your local WWF office they may have some ideas about ways you can support WWF at a local level.

At the bottom of our home page (right hand side) you can immediately get to local WWF websites

How does WWF impact upon the community?
Big and valid question! This is surely the stuff of a PhD thesis alone!

In very broad terms WWF tries to keep global and local communities informed, interested and active in environmental issues. In turn, those same communities help influence and shape our direction and priorities.

WWF is not separate to "communities", we attempt to play an active positive role in or alongside them, whether this is with indigenous communities, business communities, other non-profits or amongst organisations that can influence environmental successes.

If your question is more directly concerned with our work amongst indigenous communities, you can find out more here:

    panda.org/about_wwf/what_we_do/policy/people_environment/

Your local WWF office may also have more details about our work with communities in your country.

In terms of concrete examples of our impact in various communities, it is perhaps best if you look through some of the stories here:

    panda.org/news_facts/successes/

Admittedly these only report on the positive outcomes, and there are definitely not enough of those considering the state of our environment. But hopefully it will give you some idea of the impacts WWF is having in various types of communities around the world.

the wwf impact upon the community by beeing close to people , teach them the importance of the conservation of the planet. A part for donation an individual can help the wwf by beeing voulonteer or working in the same context of conservation.
