I’m Desperate

Killing dogs - propaganda of dog hunters in russian branch of WWF!

Two last days there was a great scandal in Moscow animal shelter BANO EKO Veshnyaki. This shelter received more than 300 mln rubles for animals, but spent nothing for them. Hundreds of animals were found dead, half dead, starving, with broken paws, blind, tortured to death! Two days hundreds of people confronted with the security of shelter and dog hunters, who wanted to get into the shelter and kill the animals which stayed alive. Finally all the animals were taken home by good people or were moved to normal animal shelters. These two days costed people great efforts and pain! People were standing day and night willing to save animals. It was real hell! Please find the photos of this place below.

And what happens next?

The article appears on the web site of Russian branch of WWF!
To read the article one can paste the text into any machine translator.
The article starts with "WWF Global gives some explanations"
It says that all homeless dogs (dogs only) must be killed in all possible manners, preferably shot or poisoned! The article has unmerciful images, very stupid and insulting, offensive.
In the end it says that BANO EKO scandal is fraud and was organized by stupid animal rights activists.
Please advise, how does the philosophy of killing helpless dogs correspond to WWF vision? What kind of relations has WWF Global with criminal BANO EKO?

Please feel free to contact me by email.

Thank you for contacting us about cruelty to animals.
The focus of WWF's work is on environmental and species conservation and not on campaign issues related to cruelty towards animals. We suggest you contact organizations which are specifically working on these issues. These include:
International Fund for Animal Welfare (IFAW) -

World Society for the Protection of Animals (WSPA) -

As your issue concerns an organisation for caring for animals – you may wish to contact a UK based organization called "Born Free Foundation"

You could also contact your local WWF office and they may be able to provide more information about other local organisations who may be able to help. Their contact details (along with website URLs) of all our offices around the world are available at:

If you wish to report a Facebook page you need to contact them directly with your complaint.

    All the best

    • Thank you so much!
As far as I found out, the web site of a Russian branch of WWF was hacked by intruders who placed the offensive article. Now everything is OK.
Thank you for information about animal care organizations, it will be very helpful for Russian animal rights activists.

      Best regards,
