I’m confused

Misquoted Data on WWF Article: leading to the wrong data presentation in the global level.

Dear WWF,

I believe you quoted a wrong number in the article "Don’t let plastic choke the planet" http://wwf.panda.org/?303950/Dont-let...

Found the referenced journal available to be downloaded, the original data from Science Journal http://science.sciencemag.org/content... presented the full data in table format.

Mentioned in the article: "Can you even begin to imagine what 187.2 million tonnes of plastic look like? What about 83.4 million, or even 22.9 million tonnes? These figures represent the amount of waste plastic produced by Indonesia, the Philippines, and Malaysia ..." while 187,2 million was Indonesia coastal population number and the correct number for mismanaged plastic wasted is 3.22 MMT/Year.

Huge different.

I am really hoping for a clarification on this.

Thank you.
