whale beaching and evolution

is there a possibility that whale beaching and evolution are connected? we were told that whales once land dwelling mammals and through millions of years have evolved into what they are now.

actually oif you think of it, whales evolved twice already-- land animals have evolutionary roots from the sea, whales just repeated the process and returned again to sea.

i was just thinking that maybe beaching is an evolutionary process (which takes millions of years again) of whales to make it back to land and live there again.

i've read once read that generally only whales with teeth are affected by beaching. maybe it's because generally those whales are more prepared for living eventually on land.
