Wounded Cat/Adoption

Dear Sir/Madam,

It is submitted that my name is Sana Qureshi. I am from Pakistan. It is brought to your kind notice that yesterday while coming back from my college, i found that my neighbor's cat was lying wounded on the road. On contacting them, i learned that they had expelled him from their house and there was no solid reason behind it except that that they cant afford him. I have brought him in my house and bandaged him. I provided him with food and shelter but i can not keep him for a longer time as i already have a male cat at my place. Since two male cats can not be kept at one place. so i contacted many people including my friends to adopt the cat for sake of his shelter and food but they refused my offer. I also contacted veterinary doctor Ehsan Elahi to ask for any animal association in the city but unluckily he told me that there is no such sort of animal association in the city.

So by keeping in view above described conditions, i am forced to ask you for a helping hand for saving the life of an innocent creature of God by adopting him

  • Dear Sana
Thank you for contacting us about this cat.
The focus of WWF's work is on environmental and species conservation and not on campaign issues related to cruelty towards animals. We suggest you contact organizations which are specifically working on these issues. These include:
International Fund for Animal Welfare (IFAW) - www.ifaw.org
World Society for the Protection of Animals (WSPA) - http://www.wspa.org.au
American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals - www.aspca.org
    RSPCA (UK) - www.rspca.org.uk
    RSPCA (Australia) - www.rspca.org.au
Animal welfare organizations in Europe - http://www.eurogroupanimalwelfare.org...
You could also contact your local WWF office and they may be able to provide more information about other local organizations who may be able to help. Their contact details (along with website URLs) of all our offices around the world are available at:

It sounds like you've made a great attempt to find an alternative home for this aninal. I hope you can find a home for it.
