WWF Germany supporting trader of nuclear energy LichtBlick AG and refusing to say why

WWF is mentioned as supporter of ASM

http://www.atomausstieg-selber-machen...

ASM recommends LichtBlick AG.

LichtBlick AG since 2008 is known to trade nuclear energy, certified by TÜV Nord 2012-04-03 to be up to 2,96%

WWF Germany has been asked several times to answer why they recommend LichtBlick AG via ASM.

Marco Vollmar and Thomas Duveau promised that a reply would be delivered, but are silent now, not replying to emails.

I don't know whether Thomas Duveau is a liar and maybe right from the beginning had no intention of replying, making false promises on purpose.

But even if not, the handling of the questions regarding WWF Germany's promotion of a trader of nuclear energy is shocking.

So what will WWF International do to stop these activities of WWF Germany?

  • Hello Tobias

Thank you for your message and raising your concern with us.

Our information from WWF-Germany is that LichtBlick is Germany's largest trader of green energy and does not specifically trade nuclear energy. However, in all such distribution systems where energy from various sources is mixed the interfaces between trading and production, distribution and consumption is highly complex and as such prone to misinterpretation.
We suggest that you seek a detailed explanations from LichtBlick AG, and if there are concerns remaining after this, contact WWF-Germany directly.

The contact details for our WWF-Germany office can be found at

Hope this helps. Please let us know if you need any more information.

    All the best.

  • Is the size of LichtBlick ("is large") a reason for WWF to support it?

" does not specifically trade nuclear energy" - It's explicitly part of there business model to buy energy from the energy exchange to reduce costs (read: increase profits).

Other suppliers like EWS, Greenpeace Energy don't do that.

You recommend I shall contact LichtBlick - but what for? Are they deciding whether WWF supports them?

I want to know why WWF supports a trader of nuclear energy.

And WWF-Germany is constantly refusing to reply. That's why I ask WWF International.

Thomas Duveau of WWF-Germany sends me clownery messages, containing the claim that nuclear energy can be neutralized. Could WWF please help in Fukushima with this magic neutralizer?
