Your Help with "Seaing" a better world

Dear WWF ,

In pursuit, of my personal passion, for more knowledge and understanding of the mistreatment of our sea life and world, I started collecting information and expanding my education very quickly. About four years ago, I started watching the campaigns to protect the whales in the Antarctic sanctuary and the result was I somehow wanted to become involved in being part of the solution. I watched the struggle to find the Whaling ships for two years. I started thinking about our purpose, at DigitalGlobe, of “Seeing a Better World” to help make our world a better place with utilizing our imagery of the ocean. Armed with as much information as I could find, I presented this to my company, the thought behind which, they would be interested.

DigitalGlobe is the company. I am very proud to be associated with and they were as excited as I am with all the possibilities, if you and they, working as a team, each contributing their strong capabilities, worked on “Seaing a Better World” to save our oceans, sea life and world.
DigitalGlobe is a satellite Imagery Company, creating astoundingly clear pictures for many angles. This imagery could give exact, immediate data to pinpoint ships, boats and other objects on the ocean waters precisely.

What I am asking of you is the person or department we could work with in exchanging what each of us could contribute to bring the idea about. I believe it could be a perfect marriage with togetherness of purpose for our world and common good.

I appreciate your consideration of this idea and I am anxiously awaiting your thoughts and help. Enclosed you will find links to my company and other information that may be of interest. I can make available more information upon your request.

Sincerely, Thank you,

Terisa K Abrahams

    Hi Terisa,
Thanks for contacting us, I appreciate your passion!
Perhaps the best place to start is to contact our WWF-US office, which has had several campaigns recently regarding whaling. They may be able to help further with any contacts, or at least point you in the right direction. You can find their contact details here:

Also, have you considered contacting the International Whaling Commission (IWC)? They may be able to find an appropriate person to speak to.

I hope this helps and wish you all the best,
