xtracycle frame conflict

My frame has seat stays that clash with the xtracycle frame to the point that the kick stand metal loop (at the front of the xtracycle frame) is a loooong way from the bike frame - any ideas on how this can be addressed ??

This is an unfortunate one. I'm scratching my head and just can't seem to think of a good solution. Amazingly, I've never encountered this before... Looks like a beautiful custom p-coat!

If you are committed to this set up and will do whatever it takes, I imagine you could use a vice to crush down the offending seat tube ends without significant loss of strength. Obviously, this is last resort...

Hmm, think I'll mod the xtracycle mounts instead, should be able to do it without sacrificing much strength...yes, unfortunate indeed, should have checked before powder coating....
