Unable to activate email address or cell #

Hello, I signed up a week or two ago, and still have not been able to activate my account by email or by cell #. I tried multiple times for both, and I even tried another email account. I also checked the spam folders too. I have unlimited texting on my cell phone (verizon wireless). Please provide any troubleshooting steps I could try. Thank you for your time!
