Trade Nations on the Computer

I think that you should look in to making a computer program for Trade Nations. (Re)Decorating on my iTouch is very annoying and a hassle. Yes, I know its a program for the iTouch, iPhone, and iPad, but i think it would be very loved if you could check it on your computer. It would make so many things so much easier.

That would open up the game to a multitude of hackers, and that would ruin the game.

I agree, that it would be opened up to hackers. But what if the WHOLE game were not put online? If it isn't possible to play, but just to edit the nation!

It would be an awesome idea to make a program for Mac's because that what i'm using right now and it would be much easier to decorate my town like already mentioned!!

I would enjoy this ability, as configuring your village, and gathering goods on such a small screen is tedious!

It would just be great to be able to see all of my village at one time!

I would love for this game to be in a pc. It would be awesome to see my town on a big screen. The iphone/ipad is limited I think if you could make this a game on facebook, it's popularity would sky rocket! But that is just me. I dint have a sense of hackers and all that stuff.

Trust me. No matter how it's coded, it can be hacked/cracked/otherwise abused if it's ported to a PC or Mac.

Hackers? Sorry, but thats a "silly" argument against TN as a browser game or native on Mac/Pac. This risk is always present on any device. Even more so on an iPhone! :D
I would really like to see a native or browser version. See the competitors out there e.g Farmville etc who are very successful, also because they are present on many devices.
I for mylself don't like to play TN on the iPhone, its just to cumbersome, but on the iPad its very convenient to play (even better than We Rule etc...).
So I think its a very good idea. :)

I beg to differ, through some trial and error we have found that editing game files is harder than you may think, and with great relief, because I have no interest in a game you can cheat at.

Shilo Tobin has a very good point, I wish it were on computer too but it opens it up to a lot of hacking, things people who aren't even well versed in can do like packet editing or cheat engine. Look at how many farmville cheats there are, it sucks to play a game where people will not only stack the dice but do so excessively.

I LOVE THIS IDEA!!!
In fact, I just posted the exact same thing!
If not possible to put the whole game online, at least allow nation editing to be online compatible!! The screens on smaller devices are WAY to tiny!!
