I can sync from my iPhone app to my Zenbe.com account, but I can't seem to sync in reverse- i.e. from my Zenbe.com account back to my iPhone. Is this correct?
It is much more convenient to edit in Zenbe.com and then sync from my Zenbe.com account back to my iPhone in order to update my iPhone Zenbe lists.

Surprised to see your question and then no response for so many months.
Yes, you can definitely update your entries/lists on the Zenbe Lists website. The next time you sync from the Zenbe app on your phone, the new/updated information should appear immediately. That's one of the key reasons we like Zenbe — the quick, two-way updates between the website and our phones.
When entering information on the website, be sure to press the Return key when you've completed the new/updated item. When I first used the application, I found my changes weren't showing up, either on the website or on my phone, because I apparently wasn't signaling the completion of an update on the website.
Unfortunately, the key question now, following a recent several-week server outage, is whether the Zenbe service will continue to be available and trustworthy for use.
Thanks for your (belated) reply.
OK- this works, but only after you have logged out, and logged back in. It would be more re-assuring to have a sync icon on your lists online at www.zenbe.com, so that you can see your online changes after pressing the sync icon.
There are a lot of comments about the server- when will this be resolved?
My experience is different, matching what you want to see and without even needing an online sync icon. If I make a change to an item online and press return to enter it, then simply click the sync icon on the phone app, I immediately see the change there. No need to log out of either the website or the phone app.
If this isn't working for you, I'm not enough of a techie to diagnose or fix it. Can only tell you the service does, indeed, work that way for me.
The server issue is a big, frustrating unknown. There have been dozens (maybe hundreds?) of comments here, but no one seems to have heard anything back from whomever is handling those servers. Apparently, Zenbe was "partially acquired" (whatever that means) by Facebook in June 2010 and that leaves us users feeling ourselves in limbo whenever there's a server outage, which has happened before, but never to my knowledge for as long as this most recent one.
Oddly, there used to be a Facebook page for Zenbe, but it has gone away.
It's a shame, because Zenbe is such an excellent tool/service and has attracted quite a clientele. It's sad it may be necessary to move our data elsewhere — sure would be good for someone on the Zenbe end to tell us what's happening and what to expect. Just basic decency and customer service. But so far that hasn't happened.
